I enjoyed your intro. I am an artist and I teach field sketching. I was impressed that you made this intro in the deep woods. I believe Nature to be a perfect teacher (and classroom). It is ever changing, developing and evolving. In this class, I believe this will describe our essays: changing, developing and evolving.
Best,
Carolyn

Great intro movie, you should have made time to tell double standard dad though. That was the best part of the in-person introduction.

I'm really excited about starting up college, graduating was a huge thrill but college is getting to be even more. I was out of class on friday because of a slight sickness i came down with thursday night but i am feeling much better and excited for class this week. I did a whole lot of nothing over this long weekend and im ready to get back into class. Too many parties in my apartment building, can never really sleep, but hey i guess thats my welcome to college!
Talk to you soon,
Julie

Week 1 Freestyle
I'm new to the college scene and I didn't know that we had to do these. um living in the dorms is a whole new experience. I'm pretty sure that the kid in the room next to me is a speed freak. But then again college is a weird place I guess. I hope this is good enough for you.

Need to add to what Carolyn said. Not only is nature the perfect teacher and classroom, but also the very place to go when you need to put your thoughts to paper...

Courtney,
I hear you. I was going to school online at Kaplan University and this is totally different. I don't even know where to begin. I feel behind and class has just started. I am a little stressed. Hopefully it gets better. Good Luck

Slow and easy, marjorie, slow and easy wins the race! And, go easy on yourself too--you started late, no fault of yours, just the way add/drop works.

Keri--I was up at that spot yesterday--it's still completely covered in snow, and I didn't hang around in the breeze, believe me.

Six bottles on the porch, filled with the indescribable, waiting for the inevitable. St.Patrick's day and there are four-hundred and fifty-two football players are waiting to beat their girlfriends this evening. Fifty two of them will suffer permanent injury or disability. Two-hundred and fifty-two of them will be scarred for life. Two hundred of them will be terrified, betrayed and hurt this evening.

It's 3:01AM this morning and I can't convince her to leave him even though she wants to, but I can see the fear in her eyes and I'd rather fail than give up. It's 3:31AM this morning and she's sobbing into my shoulder, asking me for inconceivable answers to incomprehensible questions. It's 4:00AM and if she had stayed one more minute I might've been able to make a difference.

By 3:00AM tomorrow she'll be dead and I'll be drinking my indescribable emotions, waiting to drown in my inevitable tears.

I really enjoyed your introduction. There is nothing like the outdoors-- along with a few dogs to make the introduction a little more exciting! I'm looking forward to this course.
